A growing and forward-thinking public accounting firm in Westlake, OH is looking for a motivated and experienced professional to join their team in an Assurance/Assurance Services Department Manager capacity. If you're passionate about client service, leadership, and delivering quality results, this could be an excellent opportunity for you to take the next step in your public accounting career.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead assurance engagements from planning through completion, including supervising fieldwork, reviewing work papers, and resolving issues as they arise.
• Manage and mentor a team of staff and senior accountants, providing ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and career guidance.
• Develop expertise in assigned industries and service areas, contributing to the firm’s knowledge base and best practices.
• Identify and recommend value-added services to existing clients, strengthening client relationships.
• Help oversee day-to-day operations within the Assurance team, ensuring workflows are managed efficiently.
• Contribute to the creation and implementation of internal policies and procedures that enhance departmental performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other service lines to deliver exceptional, holistic service to clients.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required;
  Master’s preferred
• Active CPA or EA license is a must
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience within a public accounting environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and accounting software such as Quick Books or Sage
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all levels
• Ability to pass a background check
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule during peak periods
