* What You’ll Do:

*** Work directly with the Prosthodontist to assist in advanced dental procedures, particularly dental implant treatments
* Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, ensuring strict infection control standards
* Provide chair-side assistance during procedures, anticipate the dentist’s needs, and keep the treatment area clear and organized
* Make patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit
* Take dental x-rays, process radiographs, and assist with radiographic imaging
* Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
* Educate patients on post-operative care and general oral hygiene
* Support the prosthetic team with inventory management, lab coordination, and recordkeeping
* Perform office tasks as needed, such as scheduling appointments, receiving patients, maintaining records, and ordering supplies
* Collaborate with other clinical staff, including oral surgeons, hygienists, and Patient Education Consultants to ensure exceptional care
* Assist in specialized areas such as oral surgery, periodontics, and prosthodontics
** Skills and Experience We’re Looking For:
*** Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements
* 2+ years of previous experience in a dental assisting role
* Prior experience with dental implants or prosthodontics is highly desirable
* Strong manual dexterity and ability to handle dental instruments with precision
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication and patient care skills
* Comfortable with radiographic equipment and digital dental technology
