Description A Brief Overview
$2,500.00 sign-on bonus for eligible external hires
This position serves as a registry eligible sonographer in the echocardiography laboratory and at the cardiology satellite offices. The cardiac sonographer I will be trained and must be willing to learn all aspects of an echo cardiographic exam, have a basic knowledge of cardiac pathology/echo equipment and perform other duties as assigned. The cardiac sonographer I contributes skills to assist with an efficient operation of the department.
AdditionalResponsibilities
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
- For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.
- Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
