Base Pay Range
$1,000.00/yr - $1,000.00/yr

Minimum Eligibility Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience working in a social or recreational program in a healthcare setting.
- Experience planning and directing activities for elderly residents and organizing special programs for residents, families, and staff.
- Good verbal communication skills, including the ability to give directions pleasantly and understandably.
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude in promoting activities and garnering support from facility team members.
- Ability to evaluate residents’ needs and adjust programming as required.
- Respond to resident, family, or team concerns in a respectful, patient, and professional manner, escalating to the Administrator as needed.
- Represent the community in a positive and professional manner.
- Current, valid state driver’s license.
- Must pass a criminal background clearance.
- Assist the Resident Experience Director (RED) in planning and providing activities that support and maintain residents’ quality of life, meeting state requirements in social, physical, spiritual, and mental health facets.
- Follow and implement programs posted on the Calendar of Events created by the RED, built around resident life profiles to foster an active, social, and creative environment.
- Assist the RED in maintaining updated social histories and life profiles for each resident.
- Assist the RED in maintaining a successful "Better Health for a Better Self" program to meet residents’ health and wellness needs.
- Meet new residents and families upon arrival, inform them of the activity program, and encourage participation.
- Maintain the inventory of activity supplies and equipment; submit a monthly list of needs to the RED.
- Assist with set‑up and breakdown of holiday party events as requested.
- Operate and drive the community bus for resident outings, community outreach, or programming outside the community as needed.
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.
