SUMMARY:

The HR Generalist serves as the primary point of contact for day‑to‑day human resources operations, ensuring the consistent execution of established HR strategies and initiatives. This role supports the organization’s mission by maintaining compliance, fostering employee engagement, and delivering efficient HR administration across payroll, recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.

The ideal candidate is

an organized and resourceful HR professional who thrives in a hands‑on role and enjoys supporting employees and leadership alike. They have a strong understanding of HR best practices, payroll, and compliance and can confidently manage day‑to‑day operations with limited oversight. This person values consistency, accuracy, and positive employee experiences; helping maintain a culture where team members feel supported, informed, and engaged as the company continues to grow.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the company’s ADP HR and payroll account.
  • Process biweekly payroll and ensure accuracy of timekeeping and employee records.
  • Administer employee training programs and performance review cycles within ADP.
  • Coordinate job postings and recruitment activities, including candidate screening and interview scheduling.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring all documentation and compliance steps are completed.
  • Support employee relations by assisting with disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and conflict resolution.
  • Promote engagement through the Nectar employee recognition platform and other culture‑building initiatives.
  • Collaborate on employee morale and team‑building events, such as celebrations, networking activities, and professional development opportunities.
  • Assist leadership in creating and administering learning and development programs through ADP’s Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Maintain employee personnel files, HR documentation, and policy compliance.
  • Support benefit administration and open enrollment coordination.
  • Prepare and maintain HR reports, metrics, and compliance documentation.
  • Participate in ongoing HR projects, process improvements, and company growth initiatives as assigned.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
  • 3‑5 years of experience in Human Resources or related field; generalist or HR coordinator experience preferred.
