Principal Oracle PL​/SQL Developer

We are seeking a Principal Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join our team and help build and maintain high-quality products and solutions.

This role involves hands-on software engineering experience with cloud-based systems using modern, scalable, and resilient architectures (Containers and Serverless).

The ideal candidate will ensure operational stability of services within the cloud and develop secure, scalable solutions while navigating technical complexities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL or other data pipeline processes to integrate data from various sources into Oracle databases.
• Write and optimize SQL and PL/SQL code, including stored procedures, triggers, functions, views, and complex queries.
• Perform database services such as SQL code review, performance analysis, query tuning, and application database design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Analyze data and user requirements to design effective solutions.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with security standards.
• Monitor and maintain operational stability of cloud-based services.

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 8+ years of technology experience; financial industry experience is a plus.
• Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL development and RDBMS concepts.
• Strong experience with physical data modeling and performance optimization techniques.
• Proficiency in writing database code (stored procedures, triggers, views) to support application logic.
• Knowledge of cloud database services such as Amazon RDS.
• Experience with analyzing data and designing effective solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to explore new technologies/tools.
• Excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts effectively.
