3 North (3N) is made up of 30 private telemetry beds which is unique to our Medicare Designated Hospital setting. Being the largest inpatient unit at UH St. John, we care for higher acuity patients and have a longer length of stay. Common diagnoses include Pneumonia, sepsis, stroke, infections, diabetes, renal failure, respiratory failure, chest pain, gastrointestinal complications, overdoses and psychiatric needs.
