Companionship Volunteer
Residential Hospice is seeking volunteers to visit patients at home or in long‑term care facilities. The role involves reading and talking to patients, writing letters, reviewing personal stories, and providing respite for caregivers.
Responsibilities- Visit patients at home or in facility as scheduled.
- Engage in conversation, read books, write or read letters.
- Support caregivers by providing brief respite.
- Maintain confidentiality and observe hospice policies.
Knowing they are not alone, the chance to see a new face and share stories, and giving caregivers a brief break.
