Duties and Responsibilities Customer Growth- Ensure the successful execution of modernization projects that meet customer expectations for quality, schedule, and cost.
- Build and maintain relationships with key general contractors, subcontractors, and modernization customers.
- Identify opportunities for additional project work or follow‑on service engagements.
- Collaborate with Branch, Regional, and National Leadership to manage, review, and provide input on project bids, estimates, and proposals.
- Own the modernization pipeline and backlog.
- Manage modernization project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure on‑time delivery.
- Monitor modernization financials, including budgets, labor productivity, and margin performance.
- Oversee material procurement, subcontractor management, and site logistics.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements on all job sites.
- Adhere to customer specifications and scope of work.
- Track project KPIs (schedule adherence, budget performance, change orders, rework) and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Conduct post‑project reviews to capture lessons learned and continuously enhance project execution processes.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of modernization projects including change orders.
- Ensure proper permitting, inspections, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure the completion of, and as necessary self‑perform, regular job site visits to ensure operational performance.
- Ensure communication with Service departments to address project start dates, end dates, and warranty execution.
- Lead, coach, and develop project managers, construction supervisors, foremen, and field staff.
- Ensure strong communication and coordination between construction teams and branch leadership.
- Provide training and mentorship to build a skilled, reliable construction workforce.
- Promote a positive work environment that supports teamwork, accountability, and high performance.
- Recruit, hire, develop, and retain experienced modernization professionals who align with Climate Pros’ core values.
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Strong supermarket refrigeration installation and remodel experience.
- MS Project expertise and strong Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills are required.
- Gantt schedule creation and editing skills are needed.
- Proven ability to deliver high‑quality projects on tight schedules.
- Solid and effective decision‑making skills are a must.
- 5+ years of refrigeration construction experience required.
- Universal EPA certification is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office / Microsoft Windows.
Regularly required to sit; occasionally required to stand; walk; occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds; noise level is usually quiet.
