Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals, and monitor established quality assurance standards. Direct and supervise all functions, duties and activities for the Front‑end department, and support day‑to‑day operations. • Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create an environment where customers feel welcomed and valued, answering product questions.
• Maintain product knowledge and suggest items to customers.
• Monitor and control supply expenses for the department.
• Manage cash control, sales records, and store cash items.
• Schedule Front‑end associates to ensure adequate coverage.
• Assist store management with budget, profit and loss reviews and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with associates and promote teamwork.
• Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and keep temperature logs.
• Enforce safety programs, identify hazards and report incidents.
• Inspect equipment regularly and report needed repairs.
• Handle customer and employee accidents and report safety risks.
• Adhere to all applicable laws and company guidelines.
• Work cooperatively in a high‑paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Resolve conflicts nonconfrontationally and maintain integrity.
• Follow directions and seek assistance when needed.
• Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum

• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Effective communication skills.
• Basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Retail or customer service experience.

Desired

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Management experience.
• Second language proficiency.
