Westlock Therapy Assistant Allied Health

Support rehabilitation services in Westlock as a Therapy Assistant using interpersonal, clinical, and reflective thinking skills. This regular part-time position works days.

As a Therapy Assistant, you will work individually and within interprofessional teams under assigned audiologist, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, recreation therapist, or speech-language pathologist supervision. You will contribute to client care across the health care continuum and provide non-client services. The position serves all ages and supports quality improvement, program planning, and student supervision.

• Provide direct and indirect rehabilitation client care
• Work under assignment, monitoring, and evaluation

• Contribute to quality improvement and program planning
• Support student supervision and team competency

• Complete an accredited rehabilitation Therapy Assistant diploma
• Equivalent training may be considered
• Demonstrate professionalism and strong ethics
• Apply client-centered care in care teams
• Hold a driver's license and required vehicle
