Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Join the Westlock Healthcare Centre as a Registered Nurse in the Rural Emergency Room. Deliver exceptional patient-centered care while engaging in critical thinking and problem-solving daily.

This regular part-time position requires a Registered Nurse to provide various nursing services. You will ensure safety and well-being for patients, families, and communities, taking a leadership role in holistic patient care. Additionally, you will advocate for patients while utilizing your assessment and communication skills in a high-stress environment.

• Provide safe, quality patient and family-centered care

• Utilize critical thinking and nursing processes effectively

• Advocate for patients and support their families

• Deliver health promotion and maintenance services

• Collaborate in a team-oriented emergency care setting

Requirements:

• Completion of accredited nursing education program

• Active or eligible CRNA registration and practice permit

• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

• Recent ER experience is essential

• Ability to work shifty and in high-stress situations
