As a Licensed Practical Nurse, your role is vital within a multidisciplinary team at the Westlock Hemodialysis Unit. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients experiencing acute and chronic renal failure. This position offers a chance to work at your full nursing scope while adhering to current policies and demonstrate your nursing skills effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations for patient care

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary health care team

• Provide hemodialysis treatments to patients

• Follow established nursing protocols and procedures

• Ensure patient and family-centered care delivery

Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited LPN program

• Registration with CLHA and current BCLS-HCP certification

• Skills in critical thinking and decision-making

• Completion of IV Therapy and Medication Administration course

• Ability to lift 40lbs (18kg)
