We're seeking a Bookkeeper with sharp attention to detail and a proactive mindset to support our Accounting department and keep our books accurate and up to date.

Position Summary

As our Bookkeeper, you’ll play a vital role in our accounting operations. You’ll handle day-to-day financial entries, verify transaction accuracy, maintain up-to-date records in Quick Books Desktop, and support financial reporting through Excel and other internal systems. This role requires a balance of technical accounting skills and organizational efficiency to keep our financials clean and compliant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter and verify financial transactions in Quick Books Desktop
  • Categorize and input credit card transactions accurately
  • Maintain and prepare trial balances
  • Input and manage data in Excel-based financial reports
  • Assist with budget tracking and variance analysis
  • Process accounts payable and receivable
  • Prepare and file basic tax forms and compliance documents
  • Scan, upload, and organize vendor bills and records
  • Maintain updated files for vehicles, insurance, and other compliance documents
  • Support general clerical tasks and collaborate with other departments as needed
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in Quick Books Desktop
  • Strong background in bookkeeping or accounting support
  • Excellent Excel skills; experience with spreadsheets and financial data entry
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and reconciliation practices
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and consistent with deadlines
  • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Construction industry experience is a plus, but not required
