• Base pay range: $126,000 / yr – $189,000 / yr
• Actual pay is based on skills and experience.

• Ensure technical issues are resolved timely, efficiently, and cost‑effectively.
• Supervise, lead, and coordinate work with full‑time and contract employees in executing new technical strategies, equipment, or standards.
• Conduct life‑cycle and risk assessments for utility infrastructure materials and processes; improve preventive maintenance procedures to reduce downtime.
• Support audits and inspections; ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Provide engineering expertise and guidance for identifying, analyzing, and resolving high‑impact, complex, and cross‑functional problems.
• Maintain engineering design basis documentation and control the design basis for the engineering facility.
• Plan and coordinate high‑impact complex projects with full technical responsibility.
• Support and provide technical training to junior engineering levels.
• Safeguard physical, financial, and cybersecurity assets; manage private customer data and other highly sensitive information with integrity.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a scientific/technical/math field.
• Five or more years of engineering work in operations, production, construction, or maintenance environments.
• Valid Class C Driver’s License.

• Experience with utility enterprise and/or grid information systems.
• Experience with utility meter technologies and data management systems.
• Experience developing and executing testing in a lab environment.

• Hybrid work mode: report to an SCE facility for set days with option to work remotely; requires residency in California.
• Possible secondary duty location at Pomona, CA.
• Up to 20% travel and field work across SCE service territory.
