I. Summary of the position

• The Worship leader cultivates a Christ-exalting, life-giving, and passionate worship culture s individual will lead full and part‑time staff, volunteers, and other people or groups assigned by the Lead Worship Pastor. The ideal candidate will subscribe to a Word and Spirit philosophy, balancing the inerrancy of the Word of God and the submission to the prompting of the Holy Spirit.

II.

Experience and Knowledge Required
  • Minimum of 3 years of worship leading in a local church
  • Ability to handle multiple projects effectively
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Ability to learn and use RockRMS software
  • Ability to learn and use Planning Center Online software
  • Proficiency in voice and piano or guitar
  • Ability to create, coordinate, and lead a worship experience with a team
  • Ability to recognize, recruit, and develop top talent for worship team expansion
III.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Lead worship for the services of BRAVE, as well as staff prayer events
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of the music, to include special attention to the theology of song lyrics
  • Assist in the training and coordination of BRAVE Worship vocal/band teams
  • Assist the Lead Worship Pastor with department planning and implementation of department projects and assist in achieving weekly goals
  • Host open auditions for worship team expansion
  • Assist in the care of the BRAVE Worship Team
  • Participate and help accomplish major worship projects and department goals
  • Other Responsibilities
  • Train, coordinate, and schedule the vocal teams at the designated campus
  • All other duties as assigned.
