Our client is seeking a Manager of Energy Storage & Renewables that will oversee and guide the Energy Storage Electrical Team within the Renewables Division, focusing on operational excellence, strategic growth, and staff development. This leader is responsible for managing technical, operational, legal, and financial aspects of the team, ensuring alignment with company goals and fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.

Key duties include developing and implementing team strategies, mentoring and growing future leaders, balancing workloads, and maintaining high standards for quality and client service. The role also involves collaborating with market and division leadership, supporting business development, and driving continuous improvement in service offerings and team performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET/EAC-accredited program.
• 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering consulting.
• 5+ years of experience leading design teams.
• Experience working in an engineering consulting firm, EPCs, developers, or construction contractors in the renewable energy sector.
• Strong interpersonal skills for developing a team & aptitude for business development within existing and new clients.

• Team leadership & mentorship skills:
  Lead projects and conduct technical reviews (Bluebeam markups);
  Balance staffing and workloads to drive team success.
• Expertise in electrical engineering & renewable energy systems.
• Hands‑on experience with utility‑scale and commercial projects.
• Integration of battery storage for microgrids, data centers, EV infrastructure.
• Familiarity with NEC, NESC, IEEE, UL standards.
• Proficient in engineering tools and modeling platforms.
• Strong technical and project management capabilities.
