Structural Project Engineer

Base pay range: $95,000.00/yr - $/yr

Location: Hybrid in Westminster, CO

Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Description: Our client is seeking a Structural Project Engineer to join their renewable energy team. This position is based in their Westminster, CO office, with potential collaboration across other regional offices. You’ll be part of a dynamic and experienced team committed to delivering high-quality engineering solutions for utility‑scale wind, solar, transmission line, and substation projects.

• Design structural foundations and ancillary structures for renewable energy projects
• Prepare and review structural design reports, specifications, and construction plans
• Respond to RFIs and support field activities during construction phases
• Provide technical expertise across multiple projects
• Collaborate with internal and external project managers to ensure successful project delivery

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET‑accredited institution
• EIT/FE certification required; PE license preferred; S.E. registration is a plus
• Minimum of 2 years of structural engineering experience
• Familiarity with IBC, ASCE 7, AISC 360, ACI 318
• Experience with shallow and deep foundations, anchorage systems, and steel member design
• Proficiency in MS Office and structural engineering software such as Mathcad, STAAD, RISA, Enercalc, LPile
• Knowledge of bridge design, geotechnical engineering, and renewable energy infrastructure is a plus
• AutoCAD experience is beneficial
• Strong communication and technical writing skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively
• Minimal travel may be required
