Lead Game Designer

Skillsearch is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Lead Game Designer to join our client's welcoming and vibrant team working on a AAA narrative adventure game. As a skilled Lead Game Designer, you will collaborate with the Game Director to develop a shared vision that merges gameplay and story. You will also mentor a team of gameplay and level designers to create innovative game experiences.

In your first few weeks in this Lead Game Designer role, you can expect to :

• Understand the needs of players and ensure the gameplay developed by the team contributes to an engaging and memorable player experience
• Work with the story team to break the story with an eye toward gameplay
• Get your hands dirty in the prototypes, game levels and game systems
• Collaborate with the art team to craft visually impressive visual experiences that further gameplay
