Phlebotomist Float Full Time – Labcorp

Pay Range: $21.73 - $28.49 per hour

Float Incentive:
Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement

Quarterly Incentive Bonus Program*:
Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Signing Bonus: $2,500

Active Labcorp employees are not eligible.

Employees with less than 20 hours are eligible for 401(k) only. Employees on a 7 on / 7 off schedule receive all benefits except PTO/FTO. All offers based on skills, experience, certification, internal equity and market data.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 5:30pm, possible Saturday rotation.

Work Location:

1950 Mountain View Ave., Longmont, CO 80501. Territory coverage includes Longmont, Fort Collins, Boulder, Louisville, Westminster and surrounding areas.

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred
• Previous experience as a phlebotomist (preferred)
• Valid Driver's License and good driving record
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation with clean driving record if applicable
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
