Advanced Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine is seeking a motivated, experienced Urgent Care Tech for our Federal location. We’re looking for someone who brings strong clinical skills, sound judgment, and leadership potential—someone who notices what needs to be done, follows through, and helps those around them succeed.
Whether you’re an experienced Medical Assistant, experienced EMT, or RN, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution in a hands-on clinical support role while building your skills and pursuing future growth.

You bring a solid clinical foundation and can manage competing priorities in a busy patient care environment. - Driven and dependable:
You take ownership of your work, stay productive, and follow through without needing constant direction. - A leader through your actions:
You set a positive example, communicate respectfully, and willingly support teammates. - Eager to grow:
You welcome feedback, seek opportunities to learn, and are interested in taking on greater responsibility over time. - Patient-focused:
You help patients feel heard, comfortable, and cared for throughout their visit. - Adaptable and collaborative:
You work closely with providers and clinic staff to keep patient care and clinic operations moving smoothly. - Prior experience training coworkers, mentoring new employees, or serving as a lead is a plus. You do not need a previous leadership title to demonstrate leadership qualities.
- Greet and room patients, obtain vital signs, and document medical history, medications, and chief complaints.
- Anticipate provider needs and prepare patients, supplies, and equipment for testing and procedures.
- Perform clinical tasks such as point-of-care testing, injections, phlebotomy, EKGs, and nebulizer treatments, as permitted by your credentials, training, and applicable scope.
- Set up and assist with procedures.
- Support occupational medicine services, including DOT physicals and pre-employment examinations.
- Complete provider-directed patient callbacks and follow-up tasks.
- Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and properly process instruments.
- Assist with phones, patient check-in and checkout, insurance verification, payments, and referrals as needed.
- Model professionalism, teamwork, and accountability while helping maintain an organized and efficient clinic.
- Follow clinical protocols, safety standards, and company policies.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Relevant clinical credentials:
Medical Assistant certification, EMT certification, or active RN license, as applicable. - Previous hands-on patient care experience; urgent care, family practice, emergency care, or another fast-paced outpatient setting is strongly preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support certification, including CPR and AED.
- Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
- 3.5-Day Workweek to enjoy fewer scheduled workdays and more time for family, personal priorities, and life outside of work, with scheduling flexibility that supports work-life balance while meeting clinic needs.
- Paid time off accruing from your first day.
- Holiday premium pay:
Time-and-a-half for working New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day. - Thanksgiving and Christmas closures so you can spend these holidays with family and friends.
- Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, accident, critical illness, and short- and long-term disability coverage.
- HSA and dependent care FSA options.
- 401(k) with company profit sharing.
- Discounted clinic visits for you and your dependents across our family of urgent care and primary care clinics.
- Training, education, employee recognition, and opportunities for advancement.
