Position Overview
The Human Resources Administrative Assistant will assist a variety of HR administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s human resource department. The HR Administrative Assistant will have the opportunity to assist with a wide range of projects related to HR onboarding, records management, data entry, and benefits administration. This position is an in-office position located in Westminster, CO.

Job Duties- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Provides clerical support to the HR department.
- May assist with payroll functions including processing, answering employee questions, and fixing processing errors.
- Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers.
- Conducts or assists with new hire orientation.
- Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant human resources work experience, preferably within the construction industry
- Associate’s degree in a related field preferred
- Bilingual preferred with the ability to read, write and speak Spanish and English fluently
- Must maintain strict confidentiality at all times
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software systems
- Prior experience using payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), or similar computer applications
- Excellent organizational skills
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Willingness and eagerness to assist the team
- Aptitude to handle stressful situations while maintaining a calm and professional approach
- Ability to travel on occasion
