Overview
QA Engineer – 3D Software (Desktop Applications) — We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join the Desktop team, working on cutting-edge 3D software for Windows and Mac. You will be responsible for testing and verification of desktop applications, ensuring high-quality user experiences for millions of users worldwide.
Base pay range$50.00/hr - $64.00/hr
Job Title: QA Engineer – 3D Software (Desktop Applications)
Responsibilities- Perform manual testing of desktop applications
- Review design documents to ensure testability and quality of features
- Develop test plans and test cases
- Test new or updated product features, track defects, and verify fixes
- Reproduce customer issues from support channels and beta programs
- Document tested fixes in release notes
- 3–5 years of software testing experience
- Proficiency with defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA)
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
- Experience testing on Windows and/or Mac platforms
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with 2D/3D modeling or visualization software
- Background in Architecture or Civil Engineering
- Localization testing experience
- Test planning, test management, and ad-hoc testing
- Defect tracking and issue reproduction
- 3D modeling knowledge (preferred, not required)
- Initial interview with hiring team members
- Second-round interview with broader team
