Day to day the team designs, develops, and supports a wide range of custom and third-party software solutions deployed in AWS, oversees dozens of AWS accounts between commercial and government environments, and guides Dev Ops best practices.

• Automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring of cloud-based infrastructure using tools like Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
• Troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and performance.
• Participate in daily standups and sprint planning.
• Participate in an on-call rotation as needed.

• Strong proficiency with Amazon Web Services.
• Strong proficiency with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong proficiency with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Cloud Formation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Power Shell.
• Experience running Postgres databases on K8s infrastructure.
• Experience working on distributed systems, and integrating with observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack.
• Experience developing REST API endpoints.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• The ability to communicate and collaborate with team members and other colleagues.
• Must be U.S. citizen.

• Experience with high availability systems and database replication.
• Success delivering and maintaining complex software systems in production environments.
• Familiarity with designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator).

The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $82,000.00 - $ annually. For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
