Job Description :
Summary

Hands on SAP Basis administration role

Requires strong experience in :

• Day to day production support
• System monitoring and tuning
• Advanced troubleshooting
• Proactive system analysis
• Standard SAP Basis administrative activities

Day to Day Responsibilities Support the full SAP landscape :

• Sandbox
• Development
• Quality Assurance
• Production

Ensure SAP environment reliability, stability, and data integrity

Maintain an error free operating environment with :

• 99.99% availability
• Sub second average response time

Perform SAP application and database performance tuning

Manage and execute SAP transport requests across environments

Investigate and implement :

• SAP Service Marketplace notes
• Support packs
• Enhancement packs

Collaborate with :

• Business users
• Test users
• Application delivery teams

Assist in issue resolution and exploration of new opportunities

Communicate and implement SAP upgrades and patches

Evaluate technical and architectural solutions for business requirements

Prioritize activities to support business and project needs

Assist developers with technical questions and development challenges

Provide user support through ticketing systems

Configure and troubleshoot :

• SLT R
• Fiori
• OData
• Vertex SIC
• ALE / IDOC
• ADS
• Java Stack

Manage SAP printer configuration and maintenance

Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

US Citizen

Strong knowledge of

Oracle database management

Experience with :

• Backups
• Restores
• System refreshes
• Data dictionary management

Strong documentation, analytical, and problem solving skills

Experience with

Linux operating systems

Understanding of

ETL and Data Warehousing

best practices and their impact on SAP environments

Preferred / Nice to Have Skills

• Experience running SAP in a clustered environment
• TDMS experience
• Experience with Disaster Recovery scenarios

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field (or equivalent experience)

Technical Skills Must Have

• US Citizenship
• Oracle database management expertise
• Backup / restore / system refresh experience
• Data dictionary management
• Strong documentation and analytical skills
• Linux OS experience
• ETL and Data Warehousing best practice knowledge
