** Key performance areas
** A Machine Operators job purpose is to setup and operate various equipment. Perform necessary quality checks to verify blueprint compliance blueprint specifications; up to and including the use of process specific measuring devices.
Additionally, the Machine Operator will:
* Select appropriate jobs according to the shop floor control system or as directed by the team leader.
* Perform setup using appropriate work instructions, blueprints, and other specifications, including the development and adjustment of simplistic CNC programs.
* Perform adjustment to machine parameters as trained including necessary robot calibrations.
* Verify capability of process utilizing SPC or other control methods, with process specific measuring devices
* Verify processes meet all ocular inspection criteria.
* Ensure process is running to defined levels of efficiency and utilization.
* Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tooling as required, including maintaining and assessing tooling requirements.
* Maintain the equipment and area surrounding with order and cleanliness, including completion of daily housekeeping duties.
* Perform tasks in accordance with all safety and environmental requirements.
* Perform other tasks as assigned by manager.
** Your profile
*** High attention to details with a strong visual perception.
* Experienced in the use of various measuring gauges and equipment.
* Knowledge of 5S and lean manufacturing preferred.
* 2 years’ experience working in a mechanical or industry preferred.
** Education
* * High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
** Shift
* * This position is for 2nd shift (3:00PM to 11:15PM)
