Overview

Lead Cryogenic Engineering Technician – 588.

Location:

Broomfield, CO. This role focuses on leading production of cryogens and managing liquefaction plant operations.

• Work independently and follow established operating procedures.
• Produce cryogens and operate the liquefaction plant.
• Coordinate with technical and R&D teams to fill and deliver cryogens.
• Perform basic operation on turbo machinery, including compressors, expansion engines, pumps, and vacuum systems (training provided).
• Maintain production logs, tracking spreadsheets, and associated data entry.
• Keep a clean and organized work environment; routine cleaning of work areas (brooms, dustpans, paper towels, etc.).
• Comply with safety protocols and other procedures.
• Work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) and flexible schedule (4x10 shifts is ideal).

• High School Diploma/GED minimum.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a production environment.
• U.S. Person required (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, green card holder, asylum or refugee status).
• National security requirement: candidate must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless also a U.S. citizen.

• Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
• Maintenance/repair experience.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn on the job, and readiness to take on any task.
• Desire to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organization and ability to document daily logs and project progress.

Pay Range: $70,000 – $90,000 annually (actual compensation may vary based on experience and qualifications).
