Chemical Management Specialist

Pay Rate Low: 25 | Pay Rate High: 25

Contract Duration: 6 months

Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift, 40 hours/week

Compensation: $25/hour

Location: Onsite in Westminster, CO

About the Role

We’re seeking a detail‑oriented Chemical Management Specialist to oversee chemical inventory operations in a manufacturing environment. This position serves as the primary liaison between supply chain operations and production teams, ensuring seamless material availability while maintaining strict safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities Inventory & Materials Management
  • Monitor and replenish chemical stock levels in production areas and storage facilities.
  • Conduct regular inventory assessments and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Perform quality verification of incoming products against specifications.
  • Respond to material incidents and coordinate proper cleanup procedures using detection equipment.
Safety & Compliance
  • Maintain safe handling practices for hazardous materials.
  • Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (respirator, face shield, gloves, etc.).
  • Support adherence to OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other regulatory requirements.
Collaboration & Communication
  • Serve as primary contact for production floor personnel regarding material needs.
  • Escalate quality concerns, shortages, or issues to management promptly.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • 1‑2 years inventory management or material handling experience in manufacturing.
  • 1‑2 years working with chemical materials (compatibility knowledge preferred).
  • 40‑hour Hazwoper certification.
  • Just‑in‑Time (JIT) or Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) experience in regulated industries.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
