# Registered Nurse (RN)
Westminster, CO, USAFull Time/Part Time/PRN# About the Role As a Registered Nurse (RN) in a long-term care nursing home, your role is to provide skilled nursing care, leadership, and coordination of care for residents. You will be responsible for assessing residents' health needs, developing and implementing care plans, administering medications and treatments, and supervising nursing staff. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality, person-centered care and ensuring the overall well-being of residents.#
Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' health status, including physical, mental, and emotional conditions
* Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the healthcare team
* Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with Colorado Board of Nursing regulations and facility policies
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy, safety, and adherence to established protocols
* Supervise and provide guidance to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
* Build meaningful relationships with residents to understand their personal care preferences, life histories, and individual needs
* Monitor residents' health status, identify changes in condition, and respond appropriately to medical situations
* Coordinate care with physicians, social workers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic, resident-centered care
* Provide education and emotional support to residents and their families
* Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of care provided# Qualifications
* Graduation from an accredited nursing program and a current, valid RN license in the state where employed.
* CPI Certification Required (Training Offered In-house)
