Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Westminster, CO | Acute Care

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care on a combined Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Mother-Baby unit serving approximately 160–200 deliveries per month
• Titrate drips including Pitocin and manage patients with complex diagnoses such as preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, and patients with limited or no prenatal care
• Utilize electronic fetal monitoring (OBIX system) in accordance with AWHONN fetal monitoring guidelines and staffing ratios
• Collaborate with an in-house OB, NNP, and anesthesia team available 24/7; coordinate care with surgical techs and CNAs on unit
• Float between LDRP areas as needed; in cases of extreme need, may float within the broader hospital zone
• Fulfill weekend shift requirements (6–9 shifts per 6-week period) and holiday coverage as needed; may be placed on call if census does not require full staffing

• Active RN license valid in the state of Colorado
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• STABLE certification required
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; a valid driver's license must be submitted
• Clinician must be present in state for the week of orientation, even if initial modules are completed remotely

• Prior experience in a high-volume Labor and Delivery setting
• Familiarity with OBIX electronic fetal monitoring systems and Philips telemetry monitors
• Experience caring for high-risk OB patients including those with preeclampsia, diabetes, or substance use
• Comfort working in a combined LDRP environment with cross-functional team members including surgical techs and CNAs

• Work within a well-supported unit featuring in-house OB, NNP, and anesthesia coverage 24/7, along with a dedicated telemetry monitoring room
• Self-scheduling options available, offering flexibility within a structured and collaborative care environment
