As aSSDArchitect within
Solidigm’sSSD Architecture organization, you will lead the definition and evolution of domain-level architecture for next-generation data center SSD solutions. This role is accountable for setting architectural vision, driving end-to-end system design decisions, and influencing cross-functional engineering execution to deliver high-performance, scalable, and competitive enterprise storage products.
You will operate at the intersection of system architecture, silicon design, and firmware development—leveraging deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong cross-functional leadership to shape product direction and drive innovation aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Define and own the architecture for one or more critical SSD domains (e.g., PCIe/NVMe, memory controller, CPU complex), establishing a clear long-term architectural vision aligned to product and business roadmaps.
- Lead development of architecture specifications, including system flows, hardware/software partitioning, and performance optimization strategies, demonstrating strong strategic thinking and technical depth.
- Drive complex architectural trade-off decisions balancing performance, power, cost, scalability, and time-to-market, applying sound engineering judgment and data-driven decision-making.
Architecture Leadership & Strategic Vision
