What You Will Do

As an important contributor to the County, you will perform a variety of secretarial and public relations services. Under the direction of the County Administrator, your knowledge of County functions will ensure efficient use of paperwork and schedules. You will greatly impact the County's ability to provide services to constituents at the highest level.

Essential Duties
  • Coordinate meetings, issue agendas, coordinate speakers, and process minutes. Draft proclamations and other citations.
  • Maintain up-to-date membership lists for all boards and commissions to which the County Commissioners make appointments.
  • Greet and engage with visitors and employees in a professional and courteous manner. Serve as a point of contact for County agencies and citizens.
  • Provide administrative support to special projects.
  • Perform general support functions such as scheduling meetings, distributing mail, and retrieving information.
  • Ensure all work is complete and timely to support department goals. Evaluate feedback and procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Invite collaboration and seek learning opportunities. Proactively assist peers to create a supportive work environment.
  • Exhibit integrity, ethics, and fiscal responsibility.
