Position Overview:
Seeking a BC/BE Orthopedic Surgeon with fellowship training in Sports Medicine to join a robust, multidisciplinary orthopedic team in Carroll County, Maryland. This role involves treating sports-related injuries in a diverse patient population, including athletes at the collegiate and recreational levels.
Qualifications:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery Fellowship training in Sports Medicine Strong diagnostic and surgical skills in treating sports-related injuries
Interest in academic involvement and clinical teaching
Position Highlights:
Collaborate within a nationally recognized orthopedic institute
Partnerships with D1 and D3 collegiate sports programs
Academic involvement with orthopedic surgery residents
Access to institutional research support for clinical studies and publications
Multidisciplinary collaboration with orthopedic specialists in trauma, joints, spine, hand, and pediatrics
Call: 4 days/month (additional call available)
Compensation & Benefits:
Guaranteed base salary: $400,000 $ 450,000 (commensurate with board certification and experience)
Additional income potential through wRVU production and quality incentives
