Nest Foundation Inc is looking for a motivated and compassionate Healthcare Office Assistant to join our team in Westminster, MD! • Greet and assist patients, clients, and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
• Schedule and confirm appointments, managing calendars for clinical or administrative staff
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and other correspondence
• Maintain and update patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality (HIPAA compliance)
• Process intake forms, insurance information, and other required documentation
• Coordinate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure smooth daily office operations
• Handle billing inquiries, co-pays, and basic medical billing tasks as needed

• High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree or medical office certification preferred
• Prior experience in a healthcare (CNA/CMT), medical or clinical office setting is a plus
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) or practice management software
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Compassionate, professional demeanor with a patient-centered approach
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
