The HR Administrative Assistant provides assistance to the Human Resources team and HR Site Lead. The incumbent will partner with leadership to administer tasks relative to the functional areas of Human Resources such as recruitment and staffing, personnel records, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and training.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Provides administrative support to the HR and HR function
- Handles administrative tasks including scheduling and coordinating meetings and interviews
- Processes various applications, employment, terminations, new hires, pay changes, informational and other confidential forms and records
- Maintains confidential HR files and databases
- Performs file audits to ensure all required employee documentation is collected and maintained
- Processes requests for payment for HR related invoices
- Gathers information and prepares reports
- Coordinates new employee onboarding
- Assists in coordinating HR events
- Manages pre-employment onboarding tasks and coordination
- Answers routine employee questions
- Performs all operations according to prescribed safety and environmental principles

Required- High School Diploma and Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an Administrative Assistant, preferably in Human Resources or another department that requires strict confidentiality
- Intermediate skillset in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Visio)
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Associate’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or other related degree
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Working knowledge of Oracle
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
