Eaton’s IS AER MSD division is currently seeking a Machine Operator for the 1st shift at our Westminster, MD facility.
Hours:
6am – 3:30pm.
Hourly rate: $23.00 per hour (salary information is a general guideline; actual pay varies based on skills, experience, and market).

At Eaton Westminster, we are a leader in design, manufacturing, and testing of high precision aerospace components including filament wound pressure vessels and structures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Complete training and enacting all steps required to fabricate and assemble a composite pressure vessel.
- Prepare and complete the set up of your machine.
- Mix and prepare chemicals and resins.
- Load and unload ovens.
- Meet daily output requirements.
- Perform proper checks and procedures to ensure quality product.
- Ensure that Environmental, Health, and Safety are included as part of everyday activities.
- Comply with all work and process instructions.
- Participate in 5S cell efforts and continuous improvement.
- Identify improvement opportunities.
- Lifting up to and including 50 pounds.
- Utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for each task.
- Work safely and report all near misses, illnesses, and injuries following established procedures.
- Complete and maintain training to meet required level of certified elements in the position.
- Properly manage traceability of components to ensure accuracy.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience or 1 year of military experience.
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Technology.
- Assembly or Test experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, Cellular Manufacturing, One-Piece Flow, and Continuous Improvement concepts.
- Experience with various types of industrial machinery, e.g., lathes, curing ovens, thermal and/or life cycling machines, sanding and industrial painting tools, and standard hand tools.
