Space Composite Assembler I – 2nd Shift

Eaton's IS AER MSD division is seeking a Space Composite Assembler I – 2nd Shift. The hours for this role are 3 pm–12:30 am. The hourly rate is $23 per hour.

• Assembly of aspirators
• Boro scoping
• Pre/post proofing
• Stenciling of space product
• Clean room certification
• Ensuring that Environmental, Health, and Safety are included as part of everyday activities
• Complying with all work and process instructions
• Participating in 5S cell efforts and continuous improvement
• Identifying improvement opportunities
• Lifting up to 50 pounds
• Utilizing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for each task associated with the job
• Working safely and reporting all near misses, illnesses, and injuries following established procedures
• Completing and maintaining training to meet required certified elements in position
• Properly managing traceability of components to ensure accuracy

Required:

• Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience OR 1 year of military experience
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Preferred:

• HS Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Technology
• Assembly or Test experience in a manufacturing environment
• Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, Cellular Manufacturing, One Piece Flow, and Continuous Improvement concepts
• Experience with industrial machinery equipment and tools such as lathes, curing ovens, thermal/life cycling machines, sanding, industrial painting tools, and standard hand tools
