Overview
Eaton’s AER MSD Mission System Division is seeking a Cleanroom Composite Assembler II - 2nd Shift. The hours for this role are 3pm-12:30am. The hourly rate is $25.00 per hour. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
What You’ll DoEaton Aerospace and Mission Systems Division is seeking a Clean Room Operator for our Westminster, MD Facility. Their work directly supports the building and creation of hardware that enables:
- Safety of our Warfighters
- Firefighters and First responders to save lives
- Aircraft to land
- Rockets to launch
- Satellites to Orbit the earth
- Astronauts to perform research
At Eaton Westminster, we are a leader in design, manufacturing, and testing of high precision aerospace components including filament wound pressure vessels and structures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Preparing/completing set up of the clean room.
- Mixing and preparing cleaning operations
- Meeting daily output requirements
- Performing proper checks and procedures to ensure quality product.
- Using a microscope and other measuring devices to complete the particle count process required for cleaning the product.
All Production Workers at Eaton Westminster are also responsible for:
- Ensuring that Environmental, Health, and Safety are included as part of everyday activities.
- Complying with all work and process instructions.
- Participating in 5S cell efforts and continuous improvement.
- Identifying improvement opportunities.
- Lifting up to and including 50 pounds.
- Utilizing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for each task associated with the job.
- Working safely and reporting all near misses, illnesses, and injuries following established procedures.
- Completing and maintaining their training to meet the required level of certified elements in their position.
- Properly managing the traceability of components to ensure accuracy.
- Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience OR 1 year of military experience
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident
- HS Diploma or Associates Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Technology
- Assembly or Test experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, Cellular Manufacturing, One Piece Flow, and Continuous Improvement concepts
- Experience with various types of industrial machinery equipment and tools such as lathes, curing ovens, thermal and/or life cycling machines, sanding and industrial painting tools, as well as standard hand tools is a plus.
