Overview

Eaton’s AER MSD Mission System Division is seeking a Cleanroom Composite Assembler II - 2nd Shift. The hours for this role are 3pm-12:30am. The hourly rate is $25.00 per hour. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Eaton Aerospace and Mission Systems Division is seeking a Clean Room Operator for our Westminster, MD Facility. Their work directly supports the building and creation of hardware that enables:

• Safety of our Warfighters
• Firefighters and First responders to save lives
• Aircraft to land
• Rockets to launch
• Satellites to Orbit the earth
• Astronauts to perform research

At Eaton Westminster, we are a leader in design, manufacturing, and testing of high precision aerospace components including filament wound pressure vessels and structures.

• Preparing/completing set up of the clean room.
• Mixing and preparing cleaning operations
• Meeting daily output requirements
• Performing proper checks and procedures to ensure quality product.
• Using a microscope and other measuring devices to complete the particle count process required for cleaning the product.

All Production Workers at Eaton Westminster are also responsible for:

• Ensuring that Environmental, Health, and Safety are included as part of everyday activities.
• Complying with all work and process instructions.
• Participating in 5S cell efforts and continuous improvement.
• Identifying improvement opportunities.
• Lifting up to and including 50 pounds.
• Utilizing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for each task associated with the job.
• Working safely and reporting all near misses, illnesses, and injuries following established procedures.
• Completing and maintaining their training to meet the required level of certified elements in their position.
• Properly managing the traceability of components to ensure accuracy.

• Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience OR 1 year of military experience
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident

• HS Diploma or Associates Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Technology
• Assembly or Test experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, Cellular Manufacturing, One Piece Flow, and Continuous Improvement concepts
• Experience with various types of industrial machinery equipment and tools such as lathes, curing ovens, thermal and/or life cycling machines, sanding and industrial painting tools, as well as standard hand tools is a plus.
