RN, Healthcare Nursing

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse at Carroll Lutheran Village. This is a PRN position to work as needed. Must have flexible availability and be able to work weekends now and then.

• Oversee a group of inpatient residents (census dependent on state laws) with the support of PCTs to conduct observations, measuring stats and machine set up
• Administer medication to senior residents
• Administer treatments as ordered
• Observe patients for physical or emotional changes
• Enter thorough and accurate documentation on electronic MAR/TAR (PCC)
• Deliver the highest-level in-patient care
• Supervise assigned Certified Medical Assistants and Geriatric Nursing Assistants
• Communication with Interdisciplinary team and physician

• Must be licensed in the state of Maryland
• Ability to leverage a broad range of nursing skills and knowledge
• Must possess a strong desire to deliver care in an empathetic, compassionate way
• Experience assessing, trouble shooting and making sound recommendations in stressful situations
• Excellent communication skills to listen and communicate with seniors and teammates
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook
