This is a full‑time position for a Walmart store in the MD area. The salary is $95,000–$145,000 per year, with additional performance bonuses.
ResponsibilitiesUpholds the Company’s Open Door Policy: meets with associates and listens to concerns, researches issues, reviews policies and procedures, and provides resolutions. Initiates community outreach programs and encourages associates and managers to serve the community. Drives financial performance of the facility by ensuring sales and profit goals are achieved, managing expenses, creating budgets, and analyzing economic trends. Enforces customer service standards and resolves complaints.
Directs the management team in facility operations and merchandising. Drives sales with accurate pricing, in‑stock levels, and merchandising. Ensures success of Academy training and store standards, creating a high‑performance culture and engaging trainees. Executes business plans and projects, identifying customer and operational needs, communicating priorities, removing barriers, and providing resources. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates, with mentoring, performance evaluations, recognition, and coaching.
Promotes company values and ethics, maintains compliance, and supports the Open Door Policy. Builds high‑performing teams and fosters a workplace of belonging and diversity. Empowers and retains top talent while upholding integrity and ethical standards.

Minimum Qualifications- 4 years of general management experience with financial accountability.
- 4 years supervising 50+ exempt and non‑exempt associates, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
- For facilities that sell firearms, completion of a firearms‑specific background check and firearms authorized training.
- For facilities that sell only ammunition with state requirements, current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required.
- Successful completion of all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings) by defined dates.
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, with experience running a fresh or dry grocery area.
