What You'll Do- Lead commercial carpentry and interior construction activities on-site
- Perform and oversee metal stud framing, drywall installation, and finishing
- Complete finish carpentry work including trim, doors, cabinetry, and fixtures
- Coordinate daily activities with project teams, subcontractors, and other trades
- Ensure projects remain on schedule while maintaining high-quality standards
- Identify and resolve job-site challenges efficiently
- Enforce safety procedures and compliance with building regulations
- Maintain a professional, clean, and organised work environment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of carpentry experience in commercial or residential construction
- Strong experience with drywall installation and finishing
- Proficiency in metal stud framing
- Skilled in finish carpentry and interior finishing work
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Commercial renovation or tenant improvement experience
- Previous leadership or crew lead experience
- Experience working alongside multiple trades on active construction sites
- Work on a prestigious research laboratory construction project

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westminster, MD.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
