Part-Time Dance Instructor​/Choreographer

Overview

Part-Time Dance Instructor/Choreographer ch original choreography to songs ranging from pop artists. Classes are for all levels and follow a consistent Diva Dance format. You will be responsible for presenting high-energy, engaging sessions and maintaining a professional, responsive approach with clients.

• Teach 1-2 classes per week, primarily in the evenings and possibly on weekends.
• Choreograph and teach original routines to varied pop songs, following Diva Dance’s class format.
• Be responsive via phone/text and maintain reliability for class scheduling and communication.
• Complete the online Instructor Development Program before teaching your first class (no cost to you).
• Submit a video of your original choreography as part of the application process.

• Experience teaching and choreographing for adults.
• Bonus points for former dance team, drill team, or cheerleading experience.
• Must have reliable transportation to the Oak Park area; you may teach at Oak Park and Downers Grove studios.

• Compensation starts at $30 per class.
• Studios:
  Oak Park (no permanent location) and Downers Grove; classes held at Diva Dance studios in Oak Park and partner facilities in Downers Grove.
