Overview

Ultrasound Tech- DI role at Duly Health and Care. Full-Time position with varied hours and travel as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Performs Breast sonographic procedures according to department standards in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provides patient education in writing and/or verbally prior to, during and after the procedure to reduce anxiety and improve comfort.
  • Produces examinations that meet image quality standards in accordance with department protocols.
  • Submits images for physician interpretation.
  • Verifies accuracy of patient demographic information, pertinent clinical diagnosis, and required technical results; data must be entered accurately and promptly to provide optimal patient care.
  • Verifies all technical data entry components are complete prior to the end of shift.
  • Monitors stock of supplies in imaging rooms to ensure regular availability, including rotation of dated items and maintenance of a clean and orderly environment.
  • Reports incidences of equipment failure.
  • Actively supports organizational changes and adheres to institutional safety procedures.
  • Participates in a multidisciplinary approach to patient care; works closely with nurses and physicians to achieve positive outcomes and optimal patient flow.
  • Demonstrates service principles of innovation, service excellence, and teamwork in daily work.
Qualifications Education and/or Certification/Licensure
  • Must be flexible in covering different locations.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography with 1-3 years work experience.
  • American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) certification is mandatory. RDMS (Breast) required.
  • Basic Life Support (CPR) Certification required.

  • 1-3 years of Ultrasound Experience
Job Details
  • Hours:

    Varied;
    Monday-Friday 7:00am-9:00pm; rotating weekends 8:00am-4:00pm. Holidays and travel as needed.

    Westmont, Hinsdale, Lisle
  • Employment type:

  • Compensation:
    Base pay range $35.25-$52.90 per hour; actual pay determined by skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
