OverviewRehabilitation Technician – Westmont – Physical/Occupational Therapy
Full‑Time, 40 hours/week. Monday‑Friday; must work two evenings until 7:00pm.
Location:
Westmont – 801 N. Cass Avenue. Expected to travel other sites for coverage needs.

- Patient care, support, and guidance
- Execute plans of care under guidance of PT/OT providers.
- Proper set up and adjustment of exercise equipment.
- Assist with set up and delivery of modalities (e.g., electrical stimulation, ultrasound, hot/cold packs).
- Utilize appropriate educational techniques including demonstration and cueing to ensure patient understanding of exercises.
- Monitor patient safety and response to exercise intensity.
- Discuss patient performance with PT/OT provider.
- Clinic flow
- Monitor patient arrivals to department.
- Start patients on time for scheduled appointments / keep patients apprised of any clinician delays.
- Maintain cleanliness of clinic, including waiting areas, exam rooms, and all equipment.
- Order supplies to keep clinic stocked, under direction from Manager.
- Front‑end tasks
- Perform necessary front‑end tasks including but not limited to check‑in, co‑pay/financial responsibility collection, answering phones, and scheduling future appointments.
- Communicate via chat with PT/OT and Chiropractic referral team regarding patient insurance benefits.
- Schedule management for clinicians (i.e., patient confirmation calls, rescheduling patients as needed).
- CPR certification required (certification offered through Duly Health and Care).
- High School Diploma.
- Knowledge of common medical terminology and abbreviations.
- Understanding of principles and contraindications/precautions in the use of therapy modalities.
- Ability to identify proper patient set‑up on each piece of equipment with the ability to adjust.
- Ability to identify planes of movement and demonstrate proper exercise positioning.
- Team‑oriented.
- Attention to detail and follow‑through.
- Problem‑solving, lateral thinking, and reasoning skills.
- Communication skills.
Base pay range $15.10–$22.70 per hour, based on skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
