The position is under the general direction of the Facility Manager. The main focus of the position is on providing superior outpatient rehabilitation services through a collaborative care model with our physicians in order to optimize performance and enhance the quality of function for our patients.

• Therapist Performance Bonuses up to $2,875 Quarterly Bonus achievable without having to double book patients.

• Base salary $80,000–$100,000 yearly.

• Exceptional patient care.
• Interpret physician orders, perform initial evaluations and establish treatment plans and functional goals.
• Upgrade and amend treatment goals as necessary during the episode of care.
• Written documentation on patient status to physicians per IBJI rehab compliance guidelines.
• Determine appropriate discharge timeline and follow up.
• Supervise Rehabilitation Technicians and administrative staff as needed.
• Maintain daily paperwork compliance; document all treatment in patient charts timely (initial evals, daily notes, progress notes, discharges, HEP).
• Stay current with billing policies and demonstrate ethical billing practices.
• Maintain active state license by earning appropriate CEUs through outside courses and IBJI sponsored educational opportunities.
• Develop positive relationships with the physician teams at IBJI.
• Take an active role in the patient medical team: office visits with physicians, contact with case managers, etc.
• Participate in programs sponsored by IBJI: mentoring, clinical educator, special interest group, community outreach.

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Licensed or eligible to sit for boards in the state of Illinois.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Professional and effective writing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift greater than 25 pounds.
• Demonstrates good understanding of proper body mechanics for lifting, pulling, pushing.
• Ability to stand and sit for sequences of time greater than 30 minutes.
• Ability to work on a computer for lengthy times during the day.
