The Office Manager/Controller role combines financial oversight with administrative duties, ensuring smooth operations and accurate financial reporting.

This role is required to be on-site at the corporate office.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of the general ledger and financial reporting, focusing on understanding the general ledger's role, the key financial statements, and the importance of accurate record-keeping and reconciliation.
• Keep the Controller informed of any crucial matters associated with the financial activities of the dealerships.
• Prepare for month-end, quarterly, and year-end documents, ensure all transactions are recorded; reconcile accounts, prepare financial statements, review for accuracy and completeness. Including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
• Provide effective accounting support to management team/departments. Focus on timely, accurate, insightful information.
• Ensure adherence to best accounting practices and procedures.
• Be an intricate part of the preparation process of the financial statement. (Floor plans/general ledgers/EOM closing).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Successfully interact with staff and outside support team
• Dealership Accounting experience 3+ years required
• Management experience 3+ years required
• Have a working knowledge of the software CDK is a plus
• Action-orientated person
• Workload some weeks may require 40+ hours
