Based in Weston‑Super‑Mare this accountancy practice acts for a wide ranging and varied client base of sole traders, partnerships, limited company OMBs, SMEs, not for profit / charity and other clients of varying sectors and turnover size. As a result of ongoing growth, an opportunity is available for the right Accounts Technician / Senior to join the team with excellent benefits, hybrid working, full or part time hours along with competitive salary on offer.

You will join the team as an Accounts Senior where you will take responsibility for the hands on provision of year end accounts preparation, tax, personal and corporate, VAT, bookkeeping and other services to a wide spectrum of clients. Alongside providing a quality compliance service, you will have opportunity for increasing client contact and responsibility looking to build relationships with clients.

You will prepare accounts / tax and provide other services for sole traders , limited companies and partnerships, corporate and personal tax along with other responsibilities . Given the growth in the business and structure of the firm, you will have opportunity to carve a long term career move, with a clear development and progression path on offer, along with full study support for those pursuing qualifications.

For this Accounts Senior role you may be AAT qualified / studying or have developed your career entirely through experience only to date, or be pursuing ACCA / ACA. You will have a background working within the accountancy practice sector specifically as an Accounts Technician / Senior Accountant, or similar level, Accounts and Tax Senior, experienced Semi - Senior etc. You will bring a mix, or any of year end accounts preparation, tax, bookkeeping, VAT etc and be looking for a new challenging career move, where you can see a clear route to progress within a successful team and firm.
