Accounts Semi Senior ​/ Accounts Senior

An established and highly regarded Bristol-based accountancy practice is seeking an Accounts Semi Senior or Accounts Senior to join their growing team.

The Role
Working with a broad portfolio of owner-managed businesses and SME clients across a range of sectors, you will be responsible for:

Preparing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
Preparing management accounts and financial reports
Supporting the preparation of corporation tax and personal tax returns
Liaising directly with clients and responding to queries
Assisting clients with bookkeeping and cloud accounting software
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Supporting junior team members where appropriate
About You We are keen to speak with individuals who have:

Experience working within an accountancy practice environment
Previous exposure to accounts preparation for a varied client portfolio
Strong communication and client-facing skills

Experience with cloud accounting software such as Xero, Quick Books or Sage
AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA part-qualified, qualified or qualified by experience candidates are all encouraged to apply
