We are looking for an assistant to join our UK Accounts team. Your duties will expose you to all aspects of UK accounting and tax compliance. We will provide you with all necessary training and support alongside your classroom studies while you learn how to perform your duties. We will provide full study support for level 4 AAT on completion of probation period.

• Preparing UK tax returns for manager review.
• Preparing year end financial statements and computation of Corporation Tax liabilities for manager review.
• Bookkeeping and preparation of VAT returns.
• Processing monthly payrolls and submissions to HMRC.
• Submission of tax returns and accounts to HMRC and Companies House.
• Company secretarial assistance including submission of confirmation statements.
• Support to the admin function of the office including answering the telephone at busy times.

• 5 GCSEs including Maths and English
• 2 A Levels or equivalent preferred
• Ideally Level 3 AAT
• 1 year+ practice experience
