Currently, we are recruiting a Cover Supervisor to join a well-established secondary academy in Weston-sore-Mare, North Somerset. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced instructor or cover supervisor with a background in secondary education to make a meaningful contribution to a dedicated team.

• Proven experience as a Cover Supervisor or Instructor within secondary education
• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to cover a range of subjects with confidence
• Flexible, professional, and approachable manner
• Commitment to maintaining a positive and disciplined learning environment
• Prepared to undertake required vetting & compliance checks

• Supervising and managing classes in the absence of a regular teacher
• Maintaining an orderly classroom environment to support student learning
• Following lesson plans provided by teachers (where applicable)
• Ensuring the wellbeing and safety of all students during lessons
• Reporting on student behaviour and progress as required

Contract & recruitment information

Elementa is the recruiting partner therefore applicants being considered for the role after pre-screening will be required to complete the registration process for Elementa. This includes full vetting & background checks and application for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure (which may be chargeable @£64.20) unless you have a current Enhanced

DBS subscribed to the update service.
